اعتاد بلال قضاء العطلة مع أبناء خالته في مزرعة جدتهم، فهم يستمتعون بمساعدتها في أعمال المزرعة وتحديدا في إطعام الدجاج وجمع البيض. ذات يوم تظهر دجاجة غريبة بشكلها وبتصرفاتها فيقرر الأطفال الاعتناء بها لحين عودة صاحبها، ويطلقون عليها اسم شعنونة!
